The Black Rock City Roller girls are a group of fast skating hard hitting and dusty women from across North America. Each year, in the desert of Nevada, we descend on our friends at the Black Rock Roller Disco to give the participants of The Burning Man Festival a wild show full of thrills, chills, spills and sexy fierce women in quad roller skates that like to knock each other around.

We hold an annual one night only Derby in the Dust on the Thursday night of Burning Man. 7pm at the Roller Disco.

Women's roller derby, right now, is the fastest growing sport in North America and is spreading like wild fire globally.  In 2006 the question "If everywhere else then why not at Burning Man?" was asked and the Black Rock City Roller Girls became the answer. BRCRG is comprised of Banked and Flat Track skaters from over a dozen different leagues across the continent and around the world.

2010 was an amazing year over 30 skates and support staff from 5 different countries!! It beautiful to see how strong this has grown from just 12 skaters our first year.

We skate Flat Track at Burning Man, so we loosely follow the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Rules, but you know it's Burning Man so Saftey 3rd and we really just like to have fun with the "rules" and the game itself. This is place you can do all the stuff you can't do at home. We welcome both banked and flat track skaters, we only ask that you have some bouting experience and have passed minimal skill testing with your home league.
